Now that Stargazers wines are available in five Chester County Giant Food Stores*, all local customers can select from six Stargazers wines in these stores. Consequently I have decided to close the Winery tasting room at the end of the day (5 pm) November 18 until springtime. From the 18th onward, sales of wine not available at Giant can be arranged by appointment at the Winery.
Giant has set aside a special section for Pennsylvania wines in its wine department, making Stargazers easy to find. Please take advantage of this convenience to share Stargazers wine with family and friends over the upcoming holidays.
*The five Giant stores are Bradford Plaza, Dilworthtown Crossing, Exton, Thorndale, and beginning November 7, New Garden.
Check our website in March for reopening information.
Our shop in Lititz will be open until year end and throughout January, February and March on winter hours. Phone 717 625 3932 for specifics.
Beginning October 24th you will be able to buy six Stargazers wines at the Giant Food Store in Exton, in Thorndale and in either of the two in West Chester. We at Stargazers Vineyard hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to buy our wine anytime you want simply by stopping by a Giant store near you.
They will be stocking four of our dry wines: both Chardonnays, GV and Cabernet Franc; TINTO and Sparkling Rose
Giant is in earnest about supporting local products, so tell them you know the winemaker and thank them for adding Stargazers to the shelf.

254 years ago Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon made their last push westward to complete measuring the boundary between Maryland and Pennsylvania. By 1767 they were nearly across the length of the border when events transpired which halted their effort.
This year a new book has been published which elaborates on these events and reveals more of the human interest side of the story, BOUNDARIES by Sally M. Walker. These facets will be revealed by the obscure but well versed raconteur, the proprietor of Stargazers Vineyard. One review of the book describes it as appealing to historical minded scientists. Who better to fill this role than yours truly?
With the help of this recent historical scholarship we can "put it all together " and bid Bon Voyage to these great surveyors
Come celebrate what these men did and learn something more about its scientific importance and historical implications. The parallels to our current time are inescapable.
The first course of the menu will be served at 7 pm, August 12. For this event we are offering wines for purchase by the glass or bottle. We will provide some suggested pairings, but you are free to make your own choices. However, a small glass of Vidal is included with the lemon cake dessert .
Please join us for a relaxing evening with great food, wine and storytelling while overlooking the Brandywine
